Most days we aren’t going to the pool all glammed up but if you are……..having the right products is key!
Primer: I’m so pumped that Urban Decay came out with this Urban Defense Primer with SPF 30. This makes wearing makeup to the pool and protecting you skin so easy! No one wants to put sunscreen on over their makeup!
Foundation: Temptu Airbrush S/B . Don’t let this scare you if you don’t want to buy the personal airbrush machine you can do like me! I usually use the S/B 003 foundation that you can buy separately. When I don’t feel like airbrushing I apply it straight from the bottle with my fingers and buff it out with a brush or sponge. It is very liquidy! You have to let it dry. I love the coverage it gives and how well it stays! This foundation is completely waterproof. The great thing is that it is also very lightweight so you don’t feel like your face is caked with makeup while in the sun! I have used it for years on my clients and myself.
Concealer: MAC prolong wear. This concealer is my favorite. It is the most sweat & water proof concealer I’ve found. I use this daily and loves that it works for this as well! I still used my Laura Mercier powder to set this and didn’t have a problem in the water.
Brows: Tarte makes a great waterproof brow pencil! Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Pencil
Ive found that whatever I use on this foundation kinda becomes waterproof itself!
My blush, bronzer and highlighter didn’t budge!
Neither did my favorite red lip by Nars! This Nars Velvet Natte Lipstick in Cruella is my favorite.
I used my usual bronzer and highlighter! Coulourpop highlighters are a great option for the water because of their unique formula! My favorite is Lunch Money! Totally worth the $8 bucks!
Throw on your favorite Waterproof mascara there you are! I also put the Stila Glitter on liquid shadows to the test and they held up great!
This one piece swimsuit is from Monday Swimear!
As a mom, I love a good one piece! This one makes me feel like a million bucks! My tan is all SJolie spray tan! I freckle and you’ve gotta protect that skin so I always opt for a spray tan!
